We are SME Excellence 2023 (PME Excelência)

A total of 4136 companies, representing the various activity sectors, were distinguished with the SME Excellence 2023 status. Together, these companies are responsible for 132973 jobs.
Once again, SISMA was distinguished and was present at the ceremony. We are PME Excelência 2023.
Commerce and Industry remain the activities with the greatest representation in the PME Excelência 2023 universe. The districts with the highest concentration of PME Excelência 2023 companies are Porto (815), corresponding to 19.7%, Lisbon (763) with 18 .4%, Braga (417) with 10.1% and Aveiro (370) with 8.9%.
The PME Excelência status is awarded by IAPMEI and Turismo de Portugal (in the case of tourism companies) in partnership with a set of partner banks and the Banco Português de Fomento Group.
It is a seal of reputation that allows companies to relate to their surroundings – suppliers, customers, the financial system and national and regional authorities – on a basis of trust that facilitates the development of their businesses. For exporting companies with international ambitions, like SISMA, the PME Excelência status is particularly relevant, constituting a differentiating factor and a guarantee of the solidity and suitability of the companies.
PME Excelência are selected by IAPMEI and Turismo de Portugal from the universe of PME Líder, in fair recognition of their merit and their contribution to the results of the economy.
